There IS Some THING in the SEA!!!

As many of you have probably noticed by now, I'm going to spend some time on this BioShock 2 viral and it is for good reason. In fact at least two good reasons:

1.) BioShock was a pretty amazing game and provided a world and story that stayed with you even after you got over your nasty habit of snapping little girls head's for all of their juicy ADAM.

2.) So, far the Viral website is setting up a fairly interesting plot, and good riddance as it was starting to look like BioShock 2 really had no where to go after the ending of the first.

But, for the record, it would appear that my original thought that the website was providing information that was leading us backwards from a date, it then throws us well into the future and begins to paint a rather dark story of all these young girls ages 5 to 7 disappearing all over the European oceanside to some weirdo with a single glowing red light on his noggin. (Don't judge me for saying noggin, it just came out, so DEAL WITH IT.) Well then, that being said we have all kinds of new information to stare at and absorb over the last few days that make it sound more and more like our protagonist is some old man that reads far too many news papers and has conspiracy theories about crazy things living in the Sea. Of course, the old coot is probably right..but we already knew that because unless you've been hiding under a rock for the last year, we've all been to Rapture and played through that crazy ass story already..Right..RIGHT! BioShock 2 Viral

For those who love a good viral ad campaign prepare to dig in for the long haul. 2k seems to be updating information every so often and even added a second set of documents and another picture to their site to bring us even deeper into the world of Rapture. One will also note that the information flow appears to be appearing in reverse order. The first set of information referenced a kidnapping on 2/20/67, however the letter from one "J. Lynch" was dated 18MAR67, however the second set of newly posted information is from 9MAR67. My guess is the information will lead us back to the events on 2FEB67, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

2k, I think you just led a horse to water, then assualted it with yet another sound cranial love making that will leave people afraid of 1950s music and the ocean for months now..but for now we can only picture visions of splicers and that of faded memories of fallen Rapture..and left to dream..-TechVoid

Okay, so I'm only about five to seven years behind the power curve of jumping into the blog world and actually writing something that other people might, well, read. So, keep your eyes open for some random musing on the tech world from this self proclaimed geek of all trades and weekend warrior gamer. 

So, here's deal:  To get started, look out for one blog to come out on Saturday night each week with the download of information for the week.  Over time, we'll see how I hold up and how people are liking the blog.
